Summary
- Qevizo is an Android rewards app in development and is not yet available. This policy explains how personal information is planned to be handled in the app, and how this website handles it today.
- This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking, and has no forms.
- The app is planned to collect account, device, activity, reward and withdrawal information to run the service, verify rewards and prevent fraud.
- Survey, advertising and payment providers will handle some information under their own privacy policies.
- You can contact us to ask about, correct or delete your information.
1. Who we are
Qevizo is operated by Gufran khan (“we”, “us”, “our”). We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us at support.qevizo@gmail.com.
Review before launch
Confirm the legal identity of the operator. If you will have users in the EU or UK, check whether you need to appoint a local representative or a data protection officer, and add their details here.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers this website and the Qevizo Android app once it is released. It does not cover third-party services, such as survey, advertising or payment providers, even when you reach them through Qevizo. Their own privacy policies apply to the information they collect.
Because the app is still in development, sections about the app describe what we plan to collect and why. We will update this policy before launch so that it matches the released app.
Review before launch
Check every section against the finished app and its third-party software (SDKs). The Google Play Data safety form must match this policy.
3. This website
This website is a set of static pages. It does not set cookies, use analytics, advertising or tracking technologies, load content from third-party servers, or contain forms.
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record technical information when pages are requested, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. These server logs are used to deliver the site and keep it secure.
If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you include in your message, and we use it to reply to you.
Review before launch
Name the hosting provider and state how long it keeps server logs.
4. Information the app is planned to collect
The app is planned to collect the following categories of information.
Account information
Your email address, a display name if you choose one, sign-in details or an identifier from a sign-in service you choose, and your account settings.
Device and technical information
Device model, operating system and app version, language, IP address, an approximate location (such as country or region) derived from your IP address, and device or app identifiers. Your country is used to decide which providers’ activities can be offered to you.
Advertising identifier
The Android advertising ID, used by advertising providers when you choose to watch a rewarded advertisement, subject to your device settings.
Activity and reward records
Which activities you start and complete, when, whether the provider confirmed or reversed them, and the Coins credited to or removed from your balance.
Survey information
Survey providers collect your answers directly, including profile questions such as age, gender or interests, under their own privacy policies. From providers, we receive what is needed to credit your reward, such as completion status, a transaction reference and the reward amount.
Withdrawal information
The payout details needed for the withdrawal method you choose (for example, an account identifier for a payment service), your withdrawal history, and any identity verification needed to prevent fraud or meet legal requirements.
Fraud-prevention and security signals
Information about device integrity, network characteristics (such as use of a VPN or proxy) and patterns of activity, used to detect fraud and abuse.
Support communications
Messages you send us and our replies.
App diagnostics and usage (if used)
If we include analytics or crash reporting in the app, information about how the app is used and about errors, so we can fix problems and improve the app.
Review before launch
- Confirm which sign-in methods the app uses.
- Confirm, for each survey provider, what Qevizo sends to it (for example, country or demographics) and what it sends back.
- List the actual withdrawal methods and payment processors, and whether identity verification is used and by whom.
- Confirm which fraud-prevention tools are used.
- Confirm whether analytics or crash reporting will be included. If not, delete that category.
- Remove any category the app will not collect, and add any that it will.
5. How we use information
- To create and manage your account.
- To show activities that are available in your country and that you may be eligible for.
- To record activities, confirm them with providers, and credit or reverse Coins.
- To detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse and security incidents.
- To review and process withdrawal requests.
- To provide support and send service messages, such as notices about your account or changes to our terms.
- To maintain, troubleshoot and improve the app.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
Review before launch
If privacy laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR apply, state the legal basis for each purpose (for example contract, legitimate interests, consent or legal obligation). Also confirm whether consent is needed for personalised advertising in your markets.
6. How information is shared
- Survey providers. To show surveys and confirm completions, we plan to share a pseudonymous user identifier and limited information such as country, language and device type.
- Advertising providers. When you choose to watch a rewarded ad, the advertising provider’s software in the app may collect device information, the advertising ID, IP address and ad interaction data. They use it to deliver and measure ads, prevent ad fraud and, where permitted, personalise ads.
- Payment and payout providers. To process withdrawals you request.
- Service providers. Companies that host, store, secure or support the service on our behalf and follow our instructions, such as hosting, email and support tools.
- Legal and safety reasons. When required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect the rights, property and safety of users, Qevizo or others, including to prevent fraud.
- Business changes. If Qevizo is transferred to another operator, information may be transferred with it, and this policy will continue to apply to it.
We do not sell personal information for money.
Review before launch
Under some laws, including certain US state privacy laws, sharing device identifiers with advertising networks can count as “selling” or “sharing” personal information. Confirm your obligations and add any required opt-out before launch.
7. Third-party providers
Survey and advertising providers must approve Qevizo before their activities can appear. When providers are approved and integrated, we will list them here with links to their privacy policies.
Review before launch
List every survey, advertising, payment, analytics and hosting provider used, with a link to each privacy policy. Do not list a provider until it has approved Qevizo.
8. How long we keep information
- Account information: while your account is open, and for a limited period after it is closed.
- Activity, reward and withdrawal records: as long as needed to verify rewards, handle reversals and disputes, prevent fraud, and meet accounting, tax and other legal obligations.
- Support messages: as long as needed to resolve your request and keep a record of it.
- Website server logs: according to our hosting provider’s retention settings.
When information is no longer needed, we will delete it or anonymise it.
Review before launch
Set specific retention periods for each category and make sure the app and backend apply them.
9. Security
We will use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information, appropriate to how sensitive it is. No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We will never ask for your password by email. Please do not send passwords or full payment details to us.
Review before launch
Describe only security measures that have been implemented and verified, such as encryption in transit and at rest, or access controls. Set up a process for handling and reporting data breaches as required by law.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate information;
- ask us to delete your information;
- object to or ask us to restrict certain uses of your information;
- receive your information in a portable format;
- withdraw consent where we rely on it, without affecting earlier use.
Deleting your account. When the app launches, you will be able to ask us to delete your account and its associated information. We may keep some records where we need to, for example to prevent fraud or meet legal obligations.
Advertising ID. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your Android device settings.
To make a request, email support.qevizo@gmail.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Review before launch
Google Play requires apps that let users create accounts to offer account deletion in the app and through a web link. Build that process, publish its link, and state response times required by the laws that apply to you.
11. Children
Qevizo is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age. If we learn that we have, we will delete it and close the account. If you believe a child has given us information, please contact us.
12. International transfers
We and our service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live, which may have different data protection laws. Where the law requires it, we will put appropriate safeguards in place for these transfers.
Review before launch
Identify where data will be stored and processed, and the transfer safeguards that will be used.
13. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when the app is released and whenever our practices change. We will change the effective date at the top of this page, and where changes are significant, we will tell you in the app or by email before they take effect.
14. Contact us
For questions or requests about this policy or your personal information, contact Gufran khan at support.qevizo@gmail.com. You can also use our Contact page.
